Hello Listeners! Just wanted to let you guys know that we will be broadcasting on Saturday evening due to a conflict in Dereck's Schedule. I have to say, that it will be very interesting for me to have an entire Sunday off for a change! We will be on at 7:00pm with our normal goofy schtick and great new music. We also anticipate the return of Blog Talk Radio Community Time! Who should be our next good neighbor?!
We appreciate all of you who tuned in for our Anthropologie-themed show where we featured two popular Anthro Bloggers, Roxy from Effortless Anthropologie and Kim from Anthroholic. This episode bumped us to the top 7 in the Blog Talk Radio Entertainment Show ratings! For that, we truly thank you. However, being an Anthropologie blogger myself, it's come to my attention that one of our guests, Kim, has been the target of some serious accusations. As it stands at the moment, some customers of her personal shopping services (which she no longer runs), did not receive services and were not refunded for her lack of services to them. Worse, it appears there is intentional deceit and excuses as to why services were not provided and refunds were not issued. Dereck and I are appalled over this news and we do NOT condone this kind of behavior. We are disappointed to discover that this kind of thing has been going on behind the scenes and that many of her readers were at best dealt with in an exceedingly immature and irresponsible manner and at worst, scammed. We hope that those who have been wronged are refunded their hard earned money and we hope Kim pulls herself together and hopefully gets the help it appears she needs.
Roxy & Effortless Anthropologie are not in any way associated with this behavior, as her blog is a separate entity from Anthroholic. She has taken the grace to create a post dedicated to this unfortunate topic which is available here. They were invited to be guests individually and Roxy is just as disappointed as we are to discover this news. I have had several very smooth and sucessful transactions on the EA Trade Market and Roxy has a zero-tolerance policy about scam behavior. Do not feel trepidation about doing business there! I have gotten several cute pieces thanks to the EA Trade Market.
We will take a moment to mention it during our broadcasts and will take input via phone, chat, email whatever, but will not tolerate personal attacks/swearing/craziness like Jerry Springer.
